Aji Peanut - Heirloom Chilli

Indigenous to South America these delightful chilli pods resemble wrinkly peanut shells. The pods start off green then ripen to a bright orange and red. Small at around 5-8cms these little beauties have a scoville heat unit rating of 30,000 so they pack a punch. Slightly citrussy and tangy these a fabulous addition to your chilli library.

Plants can grow over a metre so a good support is required to hold the pods up.
