Black Pineapple - Heirloom Tomato

Black Pineapple, aka Ananas Noire, originated in Belgium in the 1990's from a cross between a pineapple tomato and a mystery black tomato.  This beefsteak variety ripens to a dark red with green shoulders, the flesh has distinctive patterns of red, pink, yellow and green.  Sweet and meaty this tomato is beautiful for slicing onto sandwiches or burgers.
