Dating back to the 15th century, this long, red, wrinkled chilli from South America is widely used in cuisine around the world. Used primarily to add heat to dishes in the form of Cayenne Pepper, these chillies are a great addition to your spice garden.
Each plant produces prolific amounts of chillies which start green and turn a beautiful bright red. With a SHU of 30,000 to 50,000 this classes it as a hot chilli.
