Officially around from 1990, legend has this tomato originating a century earlier with the Cherokee Indians in Tennessee, USA.  Similar in stature to Purple Calabash, this dark purple beauty with its bulging flutes, is now one of the world's favourite heirlooms.

With consistently well-balanced flavours, acid, sweet and smoky, this tomato will delight your tastebuds. Will require staking and support to fruit over a long period of time.
