A lovely Italian heirloom brought to New Zealand in the 1950's from the Isle of Capri off the Amalfi Coast. Successfully cultivated around Nelson and more latterly the Wellington area.

A classic pear-shape sometimes with green shoulders, this tomato is sweet and meaty, low acid, perfect for salads, sauces and soups.
