Kentucky Wonder - Heirloom Bean

Emerging in the southern states of America in the mid-19th century, this amazing bean is one of the most prolific we have grown.  A green climbing bean that produces hundreds of beans per plant, and keeps on producing for many months.

A tall climber with white flowers producing tender green, stringless pods growing to around 15cms.  Pick as often as possible as growth is fast and they become less tender as they age.

A good climbing platform is required although 4-5' high is adequate.
