Peri Peri (African Bird's Eye) - Heirloom Chilli

An open-pollinated heirloom originating in Africa centuries ago, Peri Peri is most well-known as the chilli in Peri Peri sauce. Preferring a hot sunny site this bush will produce hundreds of 2cm chillies which ripen to red. Despite its small size this chilli packs quite a punch - anywhere from 30,000 to 150,000 Scoville Heat Units.

Great for making your own sauces, jellies and marinades.
