Roma - Heirloom Tomato

Although not technically an heirloom - Roma was bred in the USA in 1955 - because it is over 50yrs old and open-pollinated, it is considered an heirloom. A smaller plum paste variety growing to around 7-8cms, this red tomato has dense flesh and few seeds.

A mild. sweet flavour, low acid tomato which is perfect for canning, tomato paste, sauces and soups.
