A vigorous medium size shrub with lovely dark wrinkled leaves, a perfect single white rose flower and finally stunning red rosehips. A pollinator attractor but also the huge red rosehips can be used in syrups, jellies, sauces, tea and more. The hairs and seeds should be removed from the rosehip before using.
Rose seeds do require a period of cold dormancy before germination and the best way to do this is to stratify them in the back of the fridge for about twelve weeks.
